Master of the Universe!!!

Well, definitely of our universe anyway. And most definitely a Master of Counselor Education. YEAH!!! DAVE GRADUATED!!!!! It's been a really long road, too. Two and a half years of online classes. Two summer of "intensives" at Adams State in Colorado. Endless papers and Wimba sessions. But, it's over and we are SO PROUD OF DAVE!!! He is truly, truly amazing! I feel incredibly blessed to be married to such an extraordinary person and I'm so happy our kids have such a great dad!

We drove down to Colorado so Dave could walk for his Graduation. I'm so glad we went! Not only did we go, but Dave's parent and brother Brad drove down as well. My parents also drove up to attend. We had quite the crowd!

Here's everyone else waiting for the graduates to come in:

Here come the graduates!

Here are a few other pictures that I wanted to throw in - too small to have their own blog post, but still important during our weekend.

The night before his graduation, we got together with some of his school friends for pizza.

Bion was really excited to meet his newest cousin, Logan!

This one is of our huge group going out to Dave's graduation lunch. Honestly, I can't believe we could all fit in the picture!

Can I just say one more time how incredible Dave is?

Road Trippin'

Dave's graduation was also last week. It was in Alamosa, Colorado. Pretty much as far South in Colorado as you can go. Needless to say, it was a looooooong drive. We left Thursday at 1:00 pm and got back Sunday at 9:00 pm, so we were only gone for 3 days and 8 hours. During that 3 days and 8 hours, we spent about 33 hours in the car and drove over 2000 miles!!!! Our kids did incredible! I still can't even quite figure out how they did so well - that was a long time for even me!!

On the drive, we saw quite a lot! Going we drove through Cheyenne, WY and down through Colorado. Coming home, we drove across Colorado and up through Utah. So, quite a lot!

Most of the drive, we saw this:

We drove through lots of small towns:

And a few big ones:

We got to see where the Denver Bronco's play:

 We drove through mountains:

And more tunnels than I could even count!

Thankfully, we didn't run into very much of this:

But we did see some of this:

Not surprisingly, this was a common occurance:

And this was a little less common:

Bria helped out by keeping a "log" of the cities we still needed to drive through:

Max and I had tons of fun sitting in the back seat:

Logan learned how to play Peek-A-Boo!

And Dave was amazing and drove the entire way!!

We had a ton of fun, but I have to admit, we were very happy when we saw this:

Grandma Sharon and Grandpa Frank

It's been a while since I've updated the old bloggeroo! I've got lots of catching up to do. This last week has been really fun and busy.

It started with Grandma Sharon and Grandpa Frank coming to visit from Oregon. We haven't seen them in a couple of years so we were so excited for their visit!

We all had so much fun while they were visiting! The biggest surprise of all was the very generous gift they brought for the kids.

It's a Gator, but Max likes to call it the "Alligator". These kids can't get enough of it! They have pretty much been riding it every waking moment since they got it (except of course while we were in Colorado). Thank you, Grandma Sharon and Grandpa Frank!!! We love you guys!!!
