6 Months

Poor Logan is spending his 6 month-iversary very sick. He's really been pretty lucky in the sick department so far, but is really getting hammered right now. The Dr. said he has Asthmatic Brochitis, probably starting from a cold and has just gotten so much worse.  No baby should cough like he's been coughing! The other not so good thing is the Dr said he may be prone to getting Asthma as he gets older. Yikes! Let's hope not! So, he is on a course of antibiotics and two different kinds of steriods to open his very congested lungs. The bad thing about the Albuterol is it makes him very jittery! He was up late, late last night because of it. He just couldn't hold still, but wanted to go to sleep so badly! Let's just hope we've hit the worst of it and he will recover quickly. =(

This month has been very busy for our Logan. His personality is coming out more and more everyday. He discovered that he has control of his voice and plays with it endlessly. We call it his singing voice.

He is very interested in anything and everything he can get his hands on. He takes playing with toys very seriously and spends nearly all his waking hours playing. He really loves his big sister and brother and finds hours of enjoyment from their silly entertainment. But, most definitely his favorite person in the world is his daddy. If Dave is anywhere nearby, Logan can't take his eyes away from Dave's every move. Probably my favorite new discovery is Logan's kisses.

He has also learned to sit up pretty well by himself. He still takes a topple every now and then, but he's pretty much got the hang of it.

He still isn't sleeping through the night, but I think he's getting closer. He slept one night for almost 8 straight hours, but of course I was up checking on him since I'm not used to it. The next night, however, he was up 5 times. We definitley have good night and bad, but I think he's getting better.

One other thing he's starting to learn is when I am or am not holding him. As long as we are home, he's pretty okay with other people holding him, but anywhere else and he doesn't really love strangers. He doesn't scream, but will only let someone else hold him for a very short time.

Here is a quick video we made the other day while Bria was playing with Logan.
