Give me a B

It's been over a month since I last blogged. I guess it's time to work on catching up again.

We have had the busiest month in the history of busy months! It's been crazy around here!! But, my blogging is so behind, that we first have to rewind to the beginning of September. A time when temperatures were warmer and spending time outdoors was no problem! We have a neighbor who is a cheerleader. She asked if Bria would like to do a little cheer camp they were having at one of the high school football games. Being that our kids literally do nothing extracurricular and also that this was a one day thing, we jumped at the chance to let Bria take part. Plus, her ultimate dream in life is to dance on Shake It Up! so who were we to deny her this opportunity?

It was so fun! The girls went a couple of hours before the football game on Friday and practiced their dance routine. They got pizza and soda (Bria bragged, and thereby accidentally confessed, to Max that she got to try Dr. Pepper). Before the game, the girls got dressed up in their t-shirts and got their hair and make-up done to get ready for their performance.

The girls were performing at the half time show. And, boy were there a lot of people who came! You can tell you live in a small town when the bleachers are full so they let you sit right on the sideline. Logan wanted so badly to get in the game. I had to really work hard at keeping him off the field. The boys had tons of fun playing while we waited for Bria's big moment:

Finally it was time for the big performance!! It was crazy! It seemed like moms from every corner lined up next to the field to get a good picture of their daughter. I took one of Dave's video cameras and recorded Bria in all her cheerleading glory. We looked and looked last night and couldn't find the footage anywhere! Dave was hired to video 3 different football teams and I'm afraid the cheerleading video was mixed up with one of those and was accidentally deleted. I'm really sad. =( But here are a few pictures of our cutie!
