Halloween 2010

Halloween was fun this year. I didn't know how it would go since it actually landed on a Sunday. We also missed the ward trunk-or-treat and the school fall carnival. I was worried that it was slated to be the worst Halloween on record. But, it wasn't. It was really fun!

Bria dressed up as Daphne from Scooby Doo. She was in love with the costume when we found it at the store. The kids have a little bit of a Scooby Doo obsession right now.

Some people had a hard time seeing it. Bria mostly got..."What are you this year?" So, here's a Scooby Doo picture to compare:

Max was Bumblebee from Transformers:

I love how he has a huge smile underneath his mask.

Logan went as an adorable puppy:

We went trick-or-treating on Saturday night. Because we live in such a strong LDS community, when holidays fall on a Sunday, people tend to celebrate on Saturday. We didn't get even one trick-or-treater on Sunday, but we got quite a few on Saturday.

We saved carving pumpkins until Monday and we did that for Family Home Evening. I know it was technically November by this point, but whose counting, right?

We had Bria and Max draw what they wanted their pumpkin to look like:

Then, Dave helped them actually carve it:

Bria's was a cat and Max's was a scarecrow:
