For her birthday this year, she really wanted to have a friend party. It was really fun to watch Bria and all the anticipation she had for her birthday. I do have to say one thing....friend birthday for a 7 year old are way easier than friend birthdays for a 3 year old. Bria and I sat down and decided what we wanted to do. We decided it would be fun to have a pizza party. Then, we made the invitations and I gave them to Bria to hand out to whomever she wanted. She gave a couple to neighborhood kids and a couple to school friends. It was a really fun group! Bria's done a great job at making good friends.
We had the kids make their own mini-pizzas.
Thanks so much to Dave for helping them not put too little or too much!
Their pizzas turned out fabulous! Bria made a cute face with hers. It even had ears and earrings (although it looks like by the time we took the picture, she had already eaten one ear).
Instead of a birthday cake, I tried my hand a second time at Bakerella's beautiful cake pops. Here's what I was going for:
Aren't they beautiful? Bakerella really makes them seem easy to make, too. Instead of flawless, beautiful cakepops, this is what we ended up with:
They did taste good, though.
Next, Bria got to open her presents:
Afterward, the kids headed downstairs and watched How to Train Your Dragon.
It was a great night! Happy Birthday, Bria! We love you!
